Sophie Papageorgis – Integrative-Relational Psychotherapist

Specialisms – Adults, Children & Young People

Being an integrative-relational therapist, Sophie uses tools and techniques from many different theories to work with each person individually. She appreciates the importance of past events, and how these may be impacting you today. Sophie enjoys working creatively with her clients of all ages, and works with ages 4 and up.

Whether you have a specific goal to work towards, such as building confidence, or something just doesn’t feel quite right, Sophie will work on this with you. You may be finding yourself depressed, anxious or perhaps struggling with a trauma and unsure where to turn. Sophie provides a confidential space to explore your feelings and difficulties. By exploring your past, as well as the here and now, she aims to help you gain understanding, empowering you to find your own solutions.

Sophie is particularly interested in trauma, shame and the impact of chronic health conditions. She has undertaken further training in attachment theory, trauma treatments, eating disorders and is a trained EMDR therapist. She supervises both qualified and training therapists, is a counselling tutor at a local college, a Samaritan and a trainer for the Mind-Growth-Mastery GROW course.
